Lovely Rose Day

Rose Day, which falls on February 7, marks the beginning of a weeks' worth of Valentine's celebrations across the world. In the United States, we traditionally celebrate one day, Valentine's Day. In other countries, they celebrate the entire week, with each day of the week representing something different. If there is something that symbolizes love in its truest and purest meaning it is a rose. Nothing comes anywhere close to a rose when it comes to choosing something as a symbol of love. Be it a bouquet or a single stem of red rose, it conveys the message of love in the best possible manner with its different colours signifying different emotions and meanings. Rose day, thus, is a befitting start to the week of love.
Rose Day is celebrated on February 7. A rose is a rose is a rose. But the colour of a rose says it all.
Here is a guide to gifting the right rose for the right impact:

1.) Red: Sincere Love & Respect, Courage & Passion.
2.) Pink: Grace and Gentility, the rose of sweet thoughts.
3.) Yellow: In the Victorian times, yellow roses meant jealousy. But today, they signify friendship, joy,
gladness and freedom, the promise of a new beginning.
4.) White: Spiritual love & Purity, the rose of confession, the bridal rose; "You are heavenly", "I am worthy of you".
5.) Lavender: Love at first sight and enchantment.
6.) Orange: Passionate desire, pure enthusiasm and fascination.
7.) Black: Death, mourning, sadness, farewell, bereavement, loss and mortality.
8.) Green: Life, abundant growth, constant renewal of life, energy, constant rejuvenation of spirit and a
messenger of cheerfulness.
